My b/f surprised me w/ an Edible Arrangements bouquet today. He’s in Va in training(he’s a Marine) and even though we were able to spend Valentine’s together last weekend, he still went the extra mile. The arrangement is so beautiful, and I mean seriously who can resist delicious fruit. Its comprised of Strawberries (even chocolate-dipped ones), cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pineapples, and grapes. Sooo yummy!

So this is officially the first time I have ever entered a makeup contest on Youtube. It was kinda a last minute decision, and I have to say I was a bit intimidated to enter. The dynamic duo of Pixiwoo, Samantha & Nicola, are professional makeup artists, so re-creating one of their looks was nothing to take lightly. I decided to take a gander through and pick a look that I though was pretty and that I feeled I could recreated to some extent. I’m not looking to win, so much am I looking to showcase my skills and challenge myself. This look was probably probably one of the more challenging looks I’ve ever. Doing looks like the contest entry lets me know that I can do even better looks, and that I do have talent when it comes to makeup.

Primer – None really, occasionally I put C.O.Bigelow Deluxe Moisturizer on if my skin feels tight. I have oily skin so, I only use moisturizer at night…rarely before putting my makeup on.
Foundation – MAC Studio Fix Pressed Powder in NC45
Concealer – MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer NC42(new!) & 45, and MAC SelectMoisture in NC45.
Powder – I don’t use any right now. I have a Maybelline Mineral Power Finishing Powder in my purse, but I pretty much use it as a mirror
Blush – MAC Crushed Bougevilla Cream Color Base, MAC Sheertone Blushes in True Romance and Breezy
Bronzer – MAC Petticoat and Brunette MSF’s
Highlighter – same as bronzer’s
Eyebase – MAC Paint Pots- Contructivist & Painterly
Eyeshadow – MAC Cranberry, Glamour Check, Woodwinked, French Cuff, Coppering, Antiqued, and so many more…a different look everyday.
Eyeliner – MAC Penultimate, ULTA Kohl Eyeliner Pencil, L’Oreal Cream Liner(Black)
Curler – I don’t use a curler, fortunate enough to have a great natural curl to my lashes.
Mascara – MAC Zoomlash(fave!), Rimmel Glameyes, Rimmel Sexy Curves, and Maybelline Colossal.
Lipstick – MAC Pomposity & Racy
Gloss – MAC Squeeze It, Cult Fave, Wondershine, Star Nova, Frozen Dream Lipglasses/Lustreglasses
Nail Varnish – I have acrylics on my finger nails. On my toes, its Sinful Color Unders 18
